The NCL officially welcomes back the Hampton University Women’s Lacrosse Team. Hampton was one of the founding members of the NLC Women’s division that was introduced in 2024 and have been standouts both seasons. The Lady Pirates are coming off a 2025 season that saw them finish with a spotless 6-0 record and finish atop the Women’s NCL Division standings for a 2nd straight season. This culminated in the club claiming their first ever Women’s Championship.

Now going into Year 5 of the NCL and the 3rd full season for the program the Lady Pirates led by head coach James Foster, return stars players like Paris Hendricks and Israel Billups. This while bringing in fresh talent like Addison Lawson and Jasmine Vaughan into the fold. Do the Pirates repeat as NCL Women’s champs? Only time will tell.
