The NCL officially welcomes back the Morgan State Men’s Lacrosse Team for Year 5. Morgan has been one of the key pillars and founders of the NCL since its 2022 inception and now prepares to take part in its 5th season with the league as a program. They are coming off a season that saw them finish as the lone undefeated Men’s Division club in the regular season with a 7-0 record. All this culminating in the team making it to NCL Championship weekend for the 4th straight season. Although they lost to eventual NCL Championship Game runner ups Bowie State in the Semifinals it was another quality year for the Bears.

Now led by head coach Skyler Hargrave the Bears will enter NCL Year 5 looking to remain one of the league’s elites while looking to win their 2nd NCL Men’s Championship. The club will return seniors like Mark Evans and Chidebere Aneke, but the club will feature a majority of underclassmen this year. This includes newcomers like freshman Isaiah Vann-Preston and sophomore Kevin Blackledge ready to take the NCL by storm. Do the Bears return to the top of the NCL Men’s Division? We await that answer.
