WELCOME BACK NORFOLK STATE WOMEN!

The NCL welcomes back the Norfolk State Women’s Team for NCL Year 5. As one of the founding members of the NCL Women’s Division the Lady Spartans will look to make their first appearance in Championship Weekend this season. The club finished the 2025 season with a 3-3 record, a 2-win improvement from the previous year. This while becoming a tougher club for all those in the Women’s Division to play.

Now going into his 3rd season as head coach Rick Linyear Jr. will be looking to lead his club to an above .500 record in NCL Year 5. The team will return veterans like senior Torrance Stacey and junior Ayana Whitner, while also ushering in a ton of youth with freshman like Sydni Price and Jatiasia Jones. How will the Lady Spartans rise up the standings this year? We will find out soon.
